  • LIFE IN MONO

Okay, again, been slow to update my weblog. Been consumed with work, preparing for an exam on May 11th and prepping for a trip to Europe-will be leaving on May 24th.  I've also been slow in sharing photos.  So, better share some before I get really backlogged.

Last weekend was really a smorgasborg of things.  On Saturday, I attended a funeral for a friend's father.  The father held be ill for sometime.  The funeral was not all sad.  In eulogy, it seems like he was a funny individual.  More importantly, in his last days here on earth, he got to spend time with loved one and accept Christ.  He should be in a better place now.  Then, later in the day, I attended a reunion of sorts.  A friend of mine, who is back here temporarily from Africa organized the reunion of sorts. I attended Upland High School my freshman and sophomore year of high school before transferring to another school and graduating from there. So, some of these guys I have not seen in 22 years! One of the guys flew down here to Southern California from San Francisco just for this gathering. The friend who organized this gathering is a full time missionary in Africa- serving God passionately there.  While on Sunday, I spent time on errands, preparing for the exam and in fellowship with a group of people who were helping to organize a special Mother's Day service at my mother's church.

Below are photos from the funeral and the reunion.
